Exclude any IP address from being blocked by firewall.Allow/Block all incoming/outgoing connections of selected applications, services or port numbers.Choose the level of firewall protection from three predefined profiles: Public/Home/ Work Zone (These zones can be automatically changed as you connect from network to network).Define personal profiles with different settings.The ESET firewall provides the following additional capabilities that may be useful to you or not (So consider your use): It seems to be common knowledge around here to just suggest dumping a particular security product without any context as to why you may be using the product, but in the specific case to your use of the ESET firewall I would keep these things in mind. The reason they do this is to avoid having one firewall or the other in conflict for the allow/denial of applications or services from your Mac. The ESET Cyber Security Pro suite for me has always notified me when I leave two firewalls turned on. ![]()
